The Pokhara-Komagane Citizens’ Friendship Association recently conducted a successful training program in Japan, focusing on enhancing social work initiatives. This program was designed to improve maternal and child health services by fostering collaboration between healthcare professionals from both countries. The training included sessions on prenatal and postnatal care, capacity development, and the introduction of innovative practices such as the Kawate Breast Massage. This visit strengthened the long-standing relationship between Pokhara and Komagane, with a shared goal of promoting community welfare and creating a lasting impact through collaborative social efforts.
