The “Greetings Exchange Program” held on the auspicious occasions of Bijaya Dashami, Deepawali, Nepal Sambat, and Chhath was a beautiful celebration of friendship and cultural exchange between the people of Nepal and Japan. During this event, members of the Pokhara-Komagane Citizens’ Friendship Association and our Japanese counterparts came together to share heartfelt greetings, reinforcing the bonds of mutual respect and cooperation. The exchange of blessings and well-wishes during these festive occasions symbolized the deep-rooted connection between our communities, highlighting the shared values of unity, harmony, and prosperity.

This gathering not only honored our cultural traditions but also strengthened the long-standing relationship between Pokhara and Komagane. The participation of our Japanese friends in these important Nepali festivals underscored the spirit of collaboration that has been nurtured over the years. Together, we celebrated not just the festivals but the enduring friendship that continues to bring our two cities closer, paving the way for even more meaningful exchanges in the future.
