The partner organization for Phase 3 is the Pokhara Komagane Friendship Association (PKCAF). This association is a crucial entity that has dedicated years to fostering exchanges between Pokhara and Komagane, enhancing the ties of international cooperation between the two cities. Over the years, PKCAF has served as a bridge for cultural, educational, and social collaboration, helping to deepen mutual understanding and respect.
In recent days, our team has been diligently working on the groundwork necessary to kick-start our upcoming activities. This involves coordinating with various relevant institutions to ensure that our efforts align with local needs and expectations. The preparation phase includes recruiting qualified staff who are not only passionate about community development but also bring valuable expertise and experience to our projects. Furthermore, we are in the process of opening bank accounts to facilitate smooth financial transactions, ensuring that our initiatives are well-funded and effectively managed.
What truly stands out about PKCAF is the incredible support we receive from its members, who hail from diverse sectors, including government, private industry, and academia. Their enthusiasm and commitment are palpable, as they often encourage us with phrases like, “No problem! Leave it to us,” and “Let’s work together for the community.” This collective spirit and determination to contribute to the local community instill a sense of confidence and optimism in our partnership.

長年にわたり国際協力友好都市である両市の交流を進めてきた大変重要な団体です。
ここ数日は、活動を始めるにあたりまず必要な関係機関への調整、スタッフのリクルートメント、銀行口座開設など具体的な準備を進めています。
PKCAFには官民産学の各方面で活躍されている方がたくさんいらっしゃり「大丈夫！任せて」「地域のために力を合わせましょう」と力強い言葉がいつも飛び出してきます。
